About this piece

A tiny watercolor bunny full of sweetness and personality. His soft features and bright expression make him an instantly lovable woodland friend. Rabbits carry a beautiful symbolic meaning: hope, gentleness, new beginnings, comfort, and curiosity. They appear at the edges of meadows, listening and observing - small reminders of tenderness in nature.

I painted this baby bunny as part of my Transitions collection, thinking about the forest shifting into cooler months - grasses fading, leaves turning, and small animals becoming more visible against the muted landscape. He represents the warm, heart‑lifting side of seasonal change, a little spark of softness as the world moves from fall toward winter.

This tiny portrait fits beautifully into children’s rooms, “forever‑kids” living rooms, nurseries, or any space that needs a touch of woodland charm. Because it’s small and heartfelt, it makes a lovely gift - easy to frame in your own style or choose my grey frame option for a clean, modern finish.

The bunny joins the growing forest crew I’ve been painting over the years - a sweet companion to the fox, bear, otter, frog, badger, and all the other woodland friends in the Studio Reta world.
